I think these pieces of crockery are so lovely and it makes having a cup of tea, more relaxing, enjoyable and special. For many years my friend Suzanne and I collected lovely china.
Whilst all around us everyone else seemed to be using “chunkier” mugs etc. we always knew the beauty of fine china.
Then a few years ago our hire business was formed. Initially we called ourselves “Something Old” but this made for some very interesting telephone conversations “Hello is that Something Old” err “yes” and so we soon changed it to Lavender and Lace China Hire. Our china has been to some stunning venues and events and is always admired and well received.
We carry a wide range and in large quantities. It is from a variety of china houses Doulton, Worcester, Coalport etc. some of our personal favourites are from Paragon and Tuscan.
We offer Setting Up and Washing Up Services too and deliver to all areas.
Sometimes people want pastel shades and others more vibrant colours. We always strive to oblige and have also built up a sound knowledge of quantities needed.
We pride ourselves on the personal service we are able to offer, we are happy to liaise closely with other people who are involved in planning the event. We love helping people make their occasion as special as possible.
