Hello, my name is Caitlin Smith
I started Mrs Smith's Boutique in late 2010.
After my wedding in August 2010 I needed a project to get stuck into after two and a half years of planning my Big Day!
I run my company in my spare time whilst working full-time as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant. It's definately not a chore having to decide between which pretty pieces of china to use!
During my research for my own wedding I noticed the high prices companies were charging just to hire vintage cakestands, which meant I had rulled it out as a posibility for us to use. This got me thinking and before I knew it, Mrs Smith's Boutique was formed.
Through my love and passion for vintage china and my creative flair I've spent the past few months sourcing beautiful and individual pieces to create one-off cakestands.
My ethos is that these individual cakestands can be bought and used as part of the wedding and kept afterwards as a keepsake. They are designed to be used again and again, being bought out for birthdays and parties, reminding you of your special day.
