I would like to introduce my Chic ,Vintage inspired ‘wedding planning’ company. Based in the heart of the Cotswolds, LadyAmy Bespoke Wedding Design is perfectly located. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and green woodlands providing the perfect setting for your special day, with a variety of stunning character building and gorgeous unique venues and friendly local suppliers.
I specialise in beautiful Bespoke Vintage chic, Country garden Weddings. Weddings with a natural feel to them, stamped with your personality and a touch of magic.
A little more about me… I’ve lived in the Cotswolds my entire life, its stunning and I simple adore the closeness to nature. Walks in local woodland areas, picnics at riverbanks and commons and long strolls across the Malvern’ and Cleeve Common were regular in our family on a Sunday after lunch. Little bunny rabbits knibbling at the grass, robbins tweeting in the trees and butterflys floating amoungst the bushes...
Not only is the surrounding scenery and ‘view’ outstanding but the shops are wonderful too. Lots of cute little boutiques with lovely doorways and window displays, coffee shops and patisseries. I am situated in the centre of Cheltenham Spa and I feel very lucky to live in such a quant town, we have a lovely home, near a few parks and great shops.
It is such a marvellous place to celebrate any event or special occasion, there are so many beautiful venues to choose from, depending on the style of your wedding day of course. There are stunning Manor Houses oozing with character and gorgeous old barns with heaps of personality, lovely gardens and surrounding woodland areas. Town halls/reception offices/Hotels and restaurants and a great selection of public houses.
I attended a local comprehensive school, performed very well throughout my school years and was lucky in achieving some great grades. From there I went on to become a senior stylist… I completed my Toni and Guy hairdressing course a few years back now, working in the Cheltenham Toni and Guy as a Stylist. I loved it, the busy atmosphere and constant involvement in the fashion industry, giving me the opportunities to work with a variety of professional people and wonderful clientele and many excited brides to be, as I specialised in Wedding hair. Completing an avant-garde hair course/classic up-do’s hair course and a wedding hair course. I have also taken part in a variety of competitions, photo shoots for magazines and shows, working alongside art directors and makeup artists. I’m currently a full time Mother, to a very beautiful cheeky boy, while working on my new business venture. So I am a Lady of many talents, all creative and incredibly rewarding. It was when I had my son I decided to take my career down a slightly different road, instead of returning to a salon.
Since watching the Wedding Planner movie, starring Jenefer Lopez years ago, when I was in school, the idea of being a wedding planner always appealed to me. It seemed so Glamerous and exciting, romantic and magical...
My love for the wedding industry blossomed, the more successful my wedding hair became, the more involved I was becoming in my Brides weddings, the more I dreampt and wished of being a Wedding Planner.
So I finally decided to fulfil my dream of becoming a planner and do a course.
I completed the UK Alliance Wedding Planning business practicality course last year. From there I spent months designing my Logo and gorgeous website and the rest is history..
The name Ladyamy came from my own name, Lauren Amy.
Im extremely passionate about what I do.
Its very important to me to work closely with all my brides/clients and that they receive a personal service at a high quality. Your wedding journey is that of an extremely exciting, emotional and special time and I am there with you and for you every step..I am a friendly, organised, creative person with a huge passion and love for the industry.
