Over the next few months I have so many gorgeous posts and lots of wonderful interesting 'wedding stuff' to talk about and share with you...

I hope you have all enjoyed the Ladyamy Wedding Blog so far. Ive talked about Me and my new business venture 'Ladyamy Bespoke Wedding Design', my passion for the wedding industry and how I just love all things pretty and vintage inspired

I had no idea that setting up this wedding blog would be so much fun and that it would be so loved...

Ive had many wonderful people featuring on the blog so far this year. All incredible inspiring and wonderful to work with. Also on the blog so far has been lots of wedding goody'ness and interesting tips and info for you...

 I had a wonderful afternoon with the lovely Zoe, founder of
 Natural Essence Photography a few weeks back. A local, friendly, kind and experienced photographer.

Graduating from London university with a BA honours, majoring in Photography in 1996, Zoe has since developed a great passion of photographing people, capturing expression and emotion that reflects the true person.

Like in all industries, photography moves at a fast pace, so Zoe keeps her skills and ideas fresh by attending courses and local wedding fayres.

Zoe has a fantastic work ethic. In an initial consultation, which is relaxed and informal, Zoe will listen carefully to what you both want. Before the wedding day you'll recieve/have a complimentary pre-wedding shoot. This will help Zoe understand how you, as a couple gel together for your pictures and this will also give you an idea of what it's going to be like, being photographed for a day.

She is super organised, you'll simply not have to worry about a thing on the day, sure in the knowledge you will recieve wonderful and beautiful pictures, which portray your personalities and the unique style of your special day.

As a Professional Wedding Hair Specialist, I decided to dedicate a post to 'hair'... For all those gorgeous ladies out there who want their hair to look fabulous on their wedding day, but have no idea what to do or what the latest trends are 

 

Now a little bit of advice...

 

It's best to have a practice before the big day, to ensure your look is perfect.. Even if you are going for a natural style, it will allow your stylist to get to know your hair type and feel comfortable working with your hair

It's always best to not wash your hair on your wedding day and use a little amount of conditioner the night before.

With natural oil buildup, your hair not being ultra smooth will make it easier to work with, give you more natural body and your hair will  be easier to manipulate and stay in place longer

Make sure your hair style is inkeeping with your personality and style

Use your Natural Hair Movement to create something softer.. You'll need less product and pins, which overall will help to create a very beautiful look, which will last all day

Use accessories and flowers to add detail and personality - Be creative and have fun with it!

Think about the jewellery you wish to wear.. If you have some fabulous dangling earrings, you may want to show them off, so perhaps an "up" do would be best, or you could sweep your hair down and to the side allowing your ears to be visible

Also think about the neck line on your dress.. If you have lots of flesh on show (shoulder/chest/neck) you may want to have a few bits or some hair down to soften that area and vice versa. If your dress is heavily detailed and decorated around the neck area you may wish to simplify things by tying your hair up out of the way

Our delicious light, moist cupcakes are topped with either creamy frosting, chocolate ganache or fondant and then decorated with our signature hand made decorations, and the flavours and colours will be carefully chosen to perfectly co ordinate with your wedding.

 A little bit about us! We are a husband and wife team based in Caterham, Surrey. We have 2 young children and 2 'normal' jobs! In September we decided to see if we could turn our artistic and creative flairs into a home-craft business. We started by making personalised, bespoke and ready made canvases using words, colour and a little imagination. From selling to friends and family, to craft shows, to our own website and then swiftly opening our virtual boutique on the lovely Gift wrapped & gorgeous website. Things have moved on at a surprisingly pleasing rate. Our canvases have already been featured in a few publication both on line and in print.

Beautiful February Wedding

Congratulations to the beautiful Amy and Keith

This Stunning simple yet incredibly stylish wedding was held at the beautiful The Park Hotel near Bath http://www.theparkresort.com/ 

..within the grounds of Tracy Park, an award winning boutique hotel & golf resort. 

The couple Amy and Keith are from Cheltenham Spa. A lovely, small stylish town nearby.

There wedding theme was simple, stylish and intimate do with a touch of Classic'ness but with a fresh up-to-date look..

Amy ware a beautiful Ivory wedding dress, gently detailed with gorgeous twinkly embellishment across the front and within the fabric on the side.

The sparkles caught the light and added a little magic

The maid of honour looked stunning in a gorgeous Sage dress. Simple style but perfect..

This was all bought together with the Men all looking very Handsome in their Grey top and Tails and Sage cravats.

Everybody looking amazing and most of all very Happy..

The flowers were a lovely cream and in a natural 'tear drop' bouqet style

What a beautiful February Day for this stunning, relaxed, stylish wedding.

The Designer Vintage Bridal Show
